DENVER BOTANIC GARDENS

7th May. Tracey, James and I head into Denver this morning to have a look at the Botanic Gardens. Unfortunately we had overlooked the fact that a giant plant sale was to occur at the weekend and the gardens were to be closed this afternoon in preparation. Masses of trestle tables and marquees being set up but we had an hour to rush round and find as many of the dinosaurs as we could! James was enraptured and ran here and there to discover each model.

There was a lot of work going on at the gardens with many new facilities being installed. New buildings and new exhibits. This dinosaur idea is a good one to link past flora with the age of reptiles using contemporary examples of plants that link back to that era.
